As part of Birmingham City University's 'STEAM' initiative for fully-funded Ph.D. study, the Centre for Printing History and Culture (CPHC) has up to three doctoral scholarships available for candidates of exceptional promise. These include the following projects:
- Punjabi Print Culture in Post-war Britain (some fluency in Punjabi required)
- British News after Empire
- A research project of the candidate's choice in the broad area of printing history and culture
