We are delighted to announce that the Typographic Library has found a new home at Winterbourne House, University of Birmingham. The Library supports an excellent collection of books, journals, magazines, type specimens and other typographic ephemera. Subjects covered include bibliography, book trade, bookbinding, graphic design, graphic reproduction, paper making, printing science, printing processes, typesetting, typefaces, typography and writing. Located within the main house at Winterbourne, and with delightful views over the gardens, the Library is peaceful and inspiring space in which to study, and once the mind has been fed, Winterbourne can offer readers a wonderful selection of refreshments from its café and contemplative walks around the gardens. The collection is open to all and can be accessed by appointment Monday to Sunday during house opening hours. Please email Henrietta Lockhart for further details.
