An ABC of the Printing Historical Collection is an exhibition organised by the Library at the London College of Communication. It runs until the end of October.
Like the ABC books designed to teach children their letters and encourage reading the Library has adopted a simple formula of matching each letter of the alphabet to an exhibit: ‘A is for Artist’; ‘B is for Braille’... The exhibition reflects on the history of print culture, reaching over the historical span of the LCC Special Collections and across many genres and forms (book arts, dictionaries, prints, woodblocks, zines). We hope the exhibition will stimulate further interest in these collections which are available to all for research.
OPen to the public and free to visit, but booking ahead is required by contacting the library.
