Dr David Osbaldestin

David Osbaldestin is a Senior Lecturer at Birmingham City University. A Creative Director with a passion for typography, David uses his design and fine art skills to teach the complex art form of the printed letter. He has a wide ranging role at BCU, teaching within Art and Design and Fine Art. David is an executive member of the Centre for Printing History & Culture, the Virtual Museum of Printing, the Printing Historical Society, and Print Networks. His doctoral research looked at the development of nineteenth-century sans serif printing types and he has published various articles on the subject.
